LITURGICAL CHANGES We ask that parishioners remain standing after the Gospel is proclaimed until the Book of the Gospels is enthroned in its place of honor. RENEW We are preparing for our second session of Renew which will begin in February. The theme of the faith sharing sessions and of the homilies at the weekend Masses will be Conversion. The part of the Mass that will high lighted will be the Liturgy of the Word. The first two weekends of February will be the time of registering for the faith sharing groups. Renew is a process by which parishes can grow spiritually and grow in understanding the Faith. The foundation of Renew is the faith sharing groups when people can gather once a week for six weeks and share their faith with others. People can participate as much as they wish. Renew is being held in our diocese as a preparation for the centennial celebration of our diocese in 2004. There is a registration form included in this week’s bulletin. This form should be filled by those who want to enter a group for the first time. Please return this form next weekend. There will be receptacles at the entrances of the church for them. ANCHOR SUBSCRIPTION There are envelopes at the entrances of the church today for any parishioner who would like to subscribe to the Anchor for the first time. |
