CHANGE OF SUNDAY MASS SCHEDULE Because of the dwindling numbers at our Masses on the weekend, the Parish Pastoral and Financial Councils decided that it would be better if we were to reduce the Masses on Sunday from three to two Masses. (Ten years ago our average attendance on the weekend was 800 people. Now the average attendance on the weekend is 600.) It is understood that no Mass change leaves everyone satisfied. Change is difficult. It is hoped, however, that parishioners will be willing to accommodate to the new Mass schedule so that we can keep all of our parishioners coming to our Masses. The Councils tried to schedule the Masses between the hours of the previous schedule. Beginning Sunday May 2 the Sunday Masses will be: 8:30 a.m. 10:00 a.m. The intention of the 8 a.m. Mass will be moved to the 8:30 a.m. Mass. The intention f the 9:30 a.m. Mass will be transferred to the 10 a.m. Mass. To the Lectors, Eucharistic Ministers, and servers of the 11 a.m. Mass: we will schedule you at the new 10 a.m. Mass. If you would like to be scheduled for another Mass, please contact Fr. Ed before the end of March.COMING TOGETHER Fr. Richard Wilson will be celebrating the Sunday morning Masses at St. Anne’s today. Fr. Wilson will meet with the parishioners after the Masses to get to know them and to answer any questions or hear any concerns. Fr. Wilson intends to do the same at St. Hedwig and Nuestra Senora de Guadalupe in the near future. EASTER FLOWER MEMORIAL ENVELOPES are available at the entrances of the church. You are invited to write the names of your loved ones. Please return the envelopes and the rice bowls by Palm Sunday, April 4 in the collection. |
