WILL WE BE HAVING OUR PARISH FESTIVAL THIS SUMMER?

It will depend whether or not we can get enough people to set up the booths and tents and take it all down after the Festival weekend. On April 3, 2002 there will be a

meeting to decide. We invite parishioners who would like to work on the Festival weekend to please call Kathy Murphy 508- 992-1069 by Tuesday, April 2.

FR. FRANK MCMANUS, S.J.

Fifty people came to an open house in the rectory to share concerns, feelings, and questions last Monday. Many people expressed the need to gather together in prayer and support for Fr. Frank. The Parish Pastoral Council agreed.

On Monday of Holy Week, March 25 at

7 p.m. at St. James Church there will be an ecumenical Prayer Service for Fr. Frank. All are invited.

THANK YOU. The profit of the meat pie supper was $ 1,607.23 Thank you to all who worked and came to the supper.

THE SACRAMENT OF PENANCE will be available during our Parish Mission this week at St. Julie’s Church North Dartmouth. On Thursday, March 21 more than ten priests will be available for the Sacrament.

A MARONITE MASS will be celebrated as a part of the Mission. Catholics may think that the only way of celebrating Mass is the way that it is celebrated in their parishes. From the beginning of the Church’s history there have been other rites in the Church. Come and experience this rite of the Maronites.
