FAMILY ROSARY DURING MAY:

CENTENNIAL OF THE DIOCESE OF FALL RIVER

CATHOLIC CHARITIES APPEAL 2004

Thanks to all who have already submitted their donations or pledges for the 2004 Catholic Charities Appeal. As the Diocese celebrates its one hundredth anniversary and as we reflect back on the history of Saint James Parish, we see the many ways that the Church has been of assistance to those in need.

Through the Catholic Charities Appeal the Catholic Church has been able to help the poor with the basic necessities of life.

If possible, we ask that you increase your contributions to the Appeal this year. Because it is the one hundredth anniversary of the Diocese, parishioners who have not given one hundred dollars to the Appeal in the past are asked to do so this year.

You are asked to mail your donation with the Appeal card to the rectory; put it through the mail slot; or put it in the collection. Thank you for your generosity to God’s people –Father Rich.
