UNITED INTERFAITH ACTION

TUESDAY, JUNE 18

AT SANTO CHRISTO CHURCH

IN FALL RIVER AT 7 P.M.

Bus transportation will be provided.

Let us put our Faith into Action by speaking through our presence for those who are in English as a Second Language ESL programs.

State Senators and Representatives; the mayors of the two cities of New Bedford and Fall River; and other officials need to see hundreds of us speak for keeping state funding at its present level for these programs. We need to provide more classes to reduce the waiting list of 700 hundred people in our two cities.

You just have to be there. You don’t speak. Your presence will speak of our solidarity with these people who want to improve their skills in English so that they can get better jobs.
