JAMES’ WEB SITE http://www.saintjames-nb.org PRAYER LINE Call Alice Lester 508- 997-8040 coming together st. James Parish St. anne parish Nuestra seÑora de Guadalupe parish St. hedwig parish This weekend we finalize the process of merging our four parishes together. It has not always been an easy process, as the parishioners of all four parishes have lost their pastors, three of the parishes have lost their buildings, and Saint James parish has had a name change. Nonetheless, we are a people of hope and our Resurrection faith is what guides us in our lives to see the new opportunities God is always presenting us to live out His grace, to share His message to a world so desperately in need of it. As we celebrate Saint James’ feast day this weekend, we ask his intercession, along with that of Our Lady of Guadalupe, Saint Anne and Saint Hedwig, so that we might always be faithful followers of Christ and that our example of Christian love of God and neighbor might attract more and more people to worship with us here. For tonight (Saturday) only, the Mass will have some Spanish in it, along with a Polish and a French hymn. Beginning on Sunday, July 25, all the English Masses will continue as is, but there will also be an 11:30 a.m. Spanish Mass on Sunday and a 7 p.m. Spanish Mass on Mondays & Thursdays. Monday, July 26 is the Feast of Saint Anne. We will have a little collation in the rectory following the 9 a.m. Mass. Father Nick will be preaching that Mass because Father Wilson has jury duty. We will also have a 7 p.m. Mass in Spanish. We thank the members of the joint committee from all 4 parishes for their dedication, their prayers, and their efforts to work as a team. We also thank the hospitality committee and all the other people who contributed food, drink or paper goods to the reception. Thanks to the combined choir for their work in leading us in song in English, Spanish, French, Polish and Latin.
