renew In the gathering area you will find a basket decorated with fall decorations. We invite parishioners during these six weeks to write one area of their spiritual lives that they would like to renew (prayer, quality time with others, better communication, reconciliation, etc.). You don’t write your name just the area of renewing. We will pray for these intentions during the second phase of renew. A very limited number of Renew booklets are available on the tables with the Renew intention baskets. These booklets are for those parishioners who cannot participate in a faith sharing group but would like to join the parish in meditating each day on the themes of these six weeks. HOSPITALITY COMMITTEE invites parishioners to put their old religious Christmas cards in the receptacles near the St. Vincent de Paul food containers at the entrances of the church. These cards will be used by the committee to prepare a special surprise for our parishioners. ANNUAL COLLECTION NOVEMBER 10 is an opportunity for parishioners to give a little extra so that the parish can pay bills and help in the daily running of the parish. The annual financial report showed that we received a very substantial bequest in the last fiscal year. This money will replace some of the savings that were used to make major repairs on our church over the last nine years. We will still be in need of money to help pay for the ordinary expenses. Any generous offering is most appreciated. |
