Please come by sometime during the afternoon to pray with Our Lord. The Adoration ends with a Holy Hour for Vocations from 4 to 5 p.m.Annual Penny Sale: Thanks to all who worked the Penny Sale Monday night and to all who donated items for the white elephant and new tables, for the cake and food tables and the raffles. Thanks to everyone who came Monday night and had a fun evening together and to everyone who was not able to come but who sent donations to help out. At the time the bulletin was prepared we did not have the financial information yet, but we hope to provide that soon. Again, many thanks! ANNUAL MASS IN REMEMBRANCE OF THE DECEASED OF OUR PARISHES IN 2004 will be celebrated today (Sunday) at 2 p.m. All those whose funerals or Memorial Masses were celebrated at St. James, St. Anne’s, Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe, St. Hedwig’s or Our Lady of Guadalupe @ St. James will be remembered in prayer at this Mass. The Hospitality Committee has organized a reception which will follow the Mass.
CHOIR REHEARSAL is at 7:15 p.m. Tuesdays in the Church (entering from the Fair St. parking lot door). New members are welcome!

Eucharistic Adoration: Now on Wednesdays: From 7 to 9 p.m. we will have Eucharistic Adoration, with the Rosary prayed at 7:20, a talk at 8 p.m., Night Prayer & Benediction at 8:45, and Confession is offered during the evening. Please enter from the Fair Street Parking lot.
RCIA TEAM VOLUNTEERS: Parishioners interested in helping converts prepare for Baptism or to be received into the Catholic Church are invited to come to a brief informational meeting Tuesday, November 9 at 8:30 p.m. in the rectory (right after RENEW). For more info, please speak with Fr. Wilson.

MOVIE NIGHT: The Education Committee is sponsoring a series of movie nights, to be able to think about our faith while being entertained. The first movie night will be this Friday, Nov. 12 at 7 p.m. The movie will be The Hiding Place, which deals with a Christian hiding people during WWII. The movie will be shown downstairs in the hall. All are welcome!!!
PLEASE PRAY FOR OUR CONFIRMATION STUDENTS as they go to Taunton for a day of retreat this coming Saturday, November 13. They will leave from the church at 7:15 a.m. and will return after the 4 p.m. Mass there at Annunciation Parish. We pray to the Holy Spirit to enlighten them as He did the apostles who gathered around Mary to pray and await the Spirit’s coming.

A Woman's Concern is opening a new pregnancy health center for the South Coast/Fall River region. Our next step in opening this center is to host a Heart for Life Chowderfest event for the entire Christian community, and we know many will want to participate. You, your friends, and family are invited to our Chowderfest on Saturday, November 13th from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. hosted by Calvary Temple Assembly of God, 4321 North Main Street, Fall River. Before opening the center, a minimum of volunteers, staff and monthly support partners must be achieved. MEETING OF COOKS who would like to help raise some money for the parish by preparing different ethnic lunches on Sundays will be held today (Sunday) at 12:45 p.m. in the rectory. All are welcome to come. "Too many cooks" would not be a problem.
T.V. MASS on Channel 6 (and 87.7FM radio) has been changed from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Sundays. The Mass is a service of the Diocese of Fall River.
DIOCESAN CHOIR FOR FEAST OF O.L. OF GUADALUPE will practice here on Saturdays, November 6 & 20 and December 4 at 2 p.m. All are welcome to come and add their voices as we praise God.

ENGLISH CLASS has begun. Nancy Medeiros is offering it Wednesdays from 7 to 9 p.m. in the rectory. It is open to anyone who would like to improve their English. Nancy can speak Spanish and Portuguese, so people of either background should have no problem. For more info, either to be a student or to help teaching, please contact Nancy at 993-9612. We are in need of more volunteer tutors to teach English. You don’t need teaching experience to help out. Please call Nancy or come by Wednesday night if you would like to help.

CLASE DE INGLES: Todos estan invitados a estas clases en donde podrán ir aprendiendo el ingles que les ayudará a una mejor comunicación con la comunidad Americana, comunicando en el trabajo y a los que vayan a presentar el exámen de Ciudadania. Les ayudará sucar la Ciudadania de los EE.UU. La maestra, Nancy Medeiros, nos espera cada miercoles a las 7 p.m. en la rectoria. R.IC.A. es el proceso de clases para preparar adultos que no han recibido el bautismo o la 1ª Comunión o la Confirmación o que eran de otra religion y ahora quieren hacerse catolicos. Tenemos estas clases los domingos a las 10 a.m. en el salón parroquial. CINE CATOLICA: este Viernes a las 7 p.m. en el salon el comite de la educación va a presentar la Pelicula "The Hiding Place" (en ingles) que tiene que ver con cristianos escondiendo judios durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial. Todos estan bienvenidos. CLASES DE BAUTISMO: Como siempre, las clases en preparación para el bautismo se dan los 2os y 3er domingos de mes, despues de la Misa de las 11:30.
