PARISH FINANCIAL COUNCIL REPORTS

each month on the collections that were collected each weekend. For the last nine years the Council has advised that $3,000 is needed to be collected in the first collection

(offertory collection) so that the parish can meet its financial responsibilities.

The following is a report of the collections for the month of October.

SEPTEMBER 29

$ 2,296.48

Cardinal Medeiros Residence Collection

$ 756.00

OCTOBER 6

$ 2,636.11

Maintenance

$ 1,189.00

OCTOBER 13

$ 2,580.40

OCTOBER 20

$ 2,070.76

Propagation of the Faith Collection

$ 836.00

OCTOBER 29

$ 2,655.90

The Parish Financial Council wishes to thank all parishioners for their generosity in helping to run their parish. As the Council has also stated over the last nine years, nothing can take the place of the weekly collection. Fund raisers are important, but they must be considered as extra income.

Households run on the regular weekly salary or monthly Social Security check. Extra money is always welcomed but it cannot be considered the main income of a household.
