How to pray the Rosary

1

While holding the crucifix make the Sign of the Cross and then recite the Apostles Creed.

2

Recite the Our Father on the first large bead.

3

Recite a Hail Mary for an increase of faith, hope and charity on each of the three small beads.

4

Recite the Glory Be to the Father on the next large bead.

5

Recite the Fatima Prayer "O my Jesus" on the large bead.

6

Then, on the large bead before each decade recite the Divine Mercy Chaplet: Eternal Father, I offer you the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Your Dearly Beloved Son, Our Lord, Jesus Christ, in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world.”

7

Recall the first Rosary Mystery and recite the Our Father on the large bead.

8

On each of the adjacent ten small beads (also referred to as a decade) start by saying: For the sake of His sorrowful Passion,
have mercy on us and on the whole world;” a
nd then  recite a Hail Mary while reflecting on the mystery.

9

On the next large bead, recite the Glory Be to the Father, the Fatima prayer.

10

Each succeeding decade is prayed in a similar manner by recalling the appropriate mystery and reflecting on that mystery.

11

When the fifth mystery is completed, say the Hail Holy Queen.

12

Conclude the Rosary saying the following 3 Times:

“Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One, have mercy on us and on the whole world.”

13

The following Optional Closing Prayer may be said, and then make the Sign of the Cross: Eternal God, in whom mercy is endless and the treasury of compassion -- inexhaustible, look kindly upon us and increase Your mercy in us, that in difficult moments we might not despair nor become despondent, but with great confidence submit ourselves to Your holy will, which is Love and Mercy itself.”
